Each pair is cleaned by hand with products matched to the material: canvas and knit are washed, leather is cleaned and conditioned, soles and midsoles are scrubbed, laces washed separately. Returned dry, deodorised and paired.

How we do it
- 1Laces come out and are washed on their own; insoles are cleaned and aired.
- 2Leather is cleaned, then conditioned so it does not dry out and crack.
- 3Midsoles are scrubbed by hand; stubborn yellowing on white soles is treated but cannot always be fully reversed.
- 4Pairs are dried away from direct heat so glue lines do not lift.
Before you send it
- Leave the laces in; we take them out and wash them separately.
- Tell us the material if it is not obvious, especially suede.
- Send both shoes, even if only one is dirty, so they come back matching.

Questions about shoe cleaning
Can you make white sneakers white again?
Mostly, yes. Dirt and scuffs come off; deep yellowing of old rubber improves but may not fully reverse. Send a photo and we will tell you what to expect.
Do you clean suede?
Yes, after we have seen the pair. Suede is brushed and spot cleaned rather than washed.
How long does it take?
About two days, because pairs need to dry properly.
